I stumbled across your site and am really impressed--would love to see wedding photos from Italy (I'm going to this same area next year.)
Congratulations!

Il Borgo Vescine is looking like a popular spot to stay, close to the Villa Calafrale; www.vescine.com. Other alternative website which is the tourist office website for the area of Chianti www.essenceoftuscany.com

I just found some fun links if you're looking for fun things to do while you're here (as if Italian culture doesn't have enough to offer!) I looked for things specifically near Radda...let us know if you're looking for something specific in another area.
Our favorite hotel finding link is www.venere.com For train service (you can buy tickets here too) www.treniitalia.it
If I have much to say on flight patterns, I prefer a stop-over in Munich or Frankfurt or thirdly London, just because of the frequency of flights daily. That way if you miss a flight or they lose your luggage, there are other flights during the day. But hey...as long as you get here...that's what counts!!
So... Bicycle rental and scooter rental (motorini)in Greve from Officina Ramuzzi: tel. 055/853037 no website sorry
Horseback rides: Associazione sportiva e culturale Rendola Riding Rendola Valdarno 52025 Montevarchi (Arezzo) tel. e fax 055/9707045 45 min away
Golf courses (cannot verify the quality...sorry golfing is not genetic!) Campo da golf l'Ugolino - www.golfugolino.it or one closer towards Bologna (and cheap!) is http://www.molinodelpero.it/
Natural park area for walking - www.parcocavriglia.com). Thermal spa nearest is in Rapolano about 45 min awayi - www.termeaq.it . Also does anyone have good links for buying museum tickets early? That could be handy! Can't wait to meet everyone! Heather (S.O.G---sister of groom---but we really prefer HJ now---sorry Matty:))

I just thought it was festive to put an Italian plane on the page :) .. I think Brent and I are going to be on NorthWORST or United... I'll post some our itinerary soon as we get it... We're still trying to figure out our whole agenda... We are flying in around Oct 7th into London/Amsterdam/Copenhagen/Munich/Zurich.. doing a couple days at one of those.. then going to either Budapest/Slovenia/Croatia/Austria for a week... then flying into Italy on Wed the 18th - Florence/Bologna/Rome/Pisa... we're obviously still working on the details. We'll probably rent a car and drive to wherever we're staying around radda. There are a ton of options for cheep flights around Europe and we're just trying to figure what works best... I'll ask to brent post the airlines he's been looking into... Wade
